Terms of Service
Last updated 26 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us for the use of karambet. Please read section 3 in particular: it describes what this service is and, just as importantly, what it is not.
1.Who we are
karambet is a trading name of Ben Haile, a sole trader established in England and Wales. In these terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean that business, and “you” means the person using the service.
You can contact us at benhailebusiness@gmail.com. That is the address to use for any question about your account, your subscription, or these terms.
2.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or subscribe. By using karambet you confirm that you are. We may close any account we reasonably believe belongs to someone under 18.
You are responsible for making sure that your use of this service is lawful where you live. Rules covering betting and gambling-adjacent services differ by country and by state, and we do not assess your local position for you.
3.What karambet is — and what it is not
karambet is a research tool. It describes what has already happened in professional Counter-Strike matches: how a player’s recent kill rate compares with their own longer baseline, how fresh those maps are, how results split by side, how volatile a player’s output has been, and which maps a team has historically picked or banned.
Every one of those numbers is a description of past maps. This means, specifically:
- It is not betting advice, and it is not financial, investment, or professional advice of any kind. Nothing here is a recommendation to place, or not place, any bet.
- It does not tell you what will happen. Past performance in esports does not predict future results. Rosters change, players have off days, and matches turn on things no statistic captures.
- It deliberately does not quote a line and a direction in the same breath. We do not publish edges, leans, value calls, or over/under recommendations. Where the product shows a probability, it is a description of a model’s output on historical data, not a signal to act on.
- Any decision you make is yours alone. If you choose to bet, you do so at your own risk and with your own money, and we are not responsible for the outcome.
If gambling is causing you harm, free and confidential help is available in the UK from GamCare on 0808 8020 133 and at begambleaware.org.
4.Accuracy of the data
Our statistics are derived from publicly reported professional match data. We take care over how it is processed, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current, or free from error, and upstream sources are outside our control. Where a figure is based on a small number of maps or on older matches, the product labels it as such — please read those labels.
5.Your account
You need an account to use the live dashboard. Keep your login details to yourself: you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at benhailebusiness@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to it.
One account per person. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, resold, or used by several people at once.
6.Free access
A free account includes a limited number of free unlocks — currently five in total, and no more than two in any one day. Sample fixtures marked as demos do not count against that allowance. These limits are a trial of the product, not a contractual entitlement, and we may change or withdraw them at any time.
Creating additional accounts to obtain more free unlocks is a breach of these terms and we may close every account involved.
7.Subscription, price and renewal
A paid subscription costs £25/month, including any VAT that applies. It renews automatically each period until cancelled, and we take payment through Stripe on the card you provide. We never see or store your full card details.
We may change the price. If we do, we will tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand, and the new price will only apply from your next renewal — so you can always cancel before it takes effect.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. Access may be suspended while a payment is outstanding, and we may cancel a subscription that stays unpaid.
8.Cancelling, and your 14-day right to change your mind
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep access until then, and you are not charged again.
As a consumer buying digital services at a distance, you normally have 14 days to cancel and receive a refund. Because access to the dashboard begins straight away, you are asked to agree at checkout that we may start supplying immediately and to acknowledge that, once we have, you lose that 14-day cancellation right. If you would rather keep the right, do not agree at checkout and contact us instead.
9.Refunds
Beyond the position in section 8, we do not refund part-used periods. This does not affect your legal rights where the service is not as described, not supplied with reasonable care and skill, or unavailable for a prolonged period — in those cases contact us and we will put it right, which may include a refund.
10.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the service, or use automated means to access it beyond ordinary browsing
- republish, resell, or redistribute our statistics as a substantial part of another product or feed
- attempt to bypass the free-unlock limits, the paywall, or any security or rate-limiting measure
- probe, load-test, or interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on
- use the service unlawfully, or in a way that harms us or other users
We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section, without refund.
11.Our content and your data
The underlying match facts are drawn from public sources, but the site, its models, derived metrics, wording, and design are ours or our licensors’. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them while it is active — it does not transfer ownership of anything.
What we do with your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
12.Availability
We aim to keep karambet available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change and the product will keep evolving. We may need to suspend access for maintenance, and we will try to keep that brief and, where practical, give notice. If a fault leaves the service unusable for a significant part of a paid period, contact us.
13.Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law — including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any betting or gambling losses, for lost profits or anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
The service is supplied for your own personal, non-commercial use. We are not liable for business losses.
14.Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, or on 30 days’ notice if we decide to withdraw the service — in which case we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
15.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the product, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use karambet after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel.
16.Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own local courts.
